I've verified the integrity of the game cache, forced it to run on my GTX 1060 6GB, etc. Everything works fine until I press new game, and then the game crashes on the loading screen.
The initial investigation determined that the motorcyclist was speeding. I just recently got Firewatch on steam, and after perusing various message boards and reddit posts, I still can't seem to fix this issue. (UPDATE, AUGUST 17) The Great Falls Police Department tells KRTV that the motorcyclist was taken to a Great Falls hospital, and the person's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
